CLASSES

Our goal is to physically and mentally prepare each athlete for the obstacles they will face on and off the playing field, as they prepare for the next level of competition . Using the workouts to not only improve athletic performance, but more importantly build a lasting character and work ethic. We will treat your child with the utmost care in the family environment that we have cultivated.

Speed & Agility

High School Speed & Agility:

Our Speed and Agility classes are designed to focus on running mechanics, linear speed, lateral quickness, acceleration and deceleration cuts that apply to every sport. We start with the basics of running form in the dynamic speed warmup. Here we instill the principles of proper speed technique and footwork for any sport. At Ethos we believe the habits formed by an athlete will either make or break them. Therefore, we stress proper form and technique even in the warmup. From there, we educate and perform various speed drills that are all designed to elicit proper running technique, improve linear speed and power output. Upon speed training, the class will then perform agility training. At Ethos, our agility training teaches one to be able to accelerate, decelerate, and reaccelerate in the most biomechanically efficient way possible. The drills taught and performed are purposeful. Each agility cut we teach is seen across the board in all sports. No matter what sport or what level you are at, Ethos speed and agility classes will teach you, hold you accountable, and prepare you to always be ahead of your competition.

Youth Training Classes (ages 8-12):

With the same scientific methodology as our high school classes, our youth speed and agility classes are a great way for any young athlete to gain new skills and improve their biomechanics. Our classes are meant to instill confidence in young kids! At Ethos, they will be able to gain a better understanding of sports, as they learn how to best excel in whatever they may do. We ensure they train in a competitive, fun and encouraging environment, and treat each kid as if they are our own!

High School Strength Training

Our scientific methodology is proven and designed to build & develop the athlete holistically. Please see our "Athletic & Development" page to read in depth about what our strength and conditioning classes entail. There you will also find areas we focus on throughout our lifting sessions.

Ethos High School Strength Classes are intended to teach kids proper form and technique in a wide variety of functional, strength and power-based lifts. Technique is stressed in great detail to ensure these athletes have a strong foundation as they move onto their collegiate and professional careers. Each strength session entails a full body lift which utilizes strength/weight training, while also emphasizing core, balance, proprioception, injury prevention, mobility, power performance, as well as confidence and mental toughness. Athletes will get to work under the leadership of our highly trained coaches in a group setting. Here, you will find a competitive and educational environment no matter what sport your child is involved in. We teach functional movements that will prepare each athlete to excel in whatever sport they may participate in. As your child prepares for their season, we will phase them through various periods focusing on: hypertrophy/muscle growth, maximum strength, power output, endurance training and an in-season strength program as we see fit. If you have a high school son or daughter that is looking to get stronger, prevent injury, and set themselves apart from their competition sign them up for an Ethos lifting class. Here they will learn technique, hard-work and resilience on and off the field.
